Tattoos

I've always wanted to get a tattoo. I think that it's fun to think about the things that you would get on you that you know will be there forever... unless of course you get them removed, but why go through the pain just to remove it?!!? Anyway, tattoos are something you should think about before you get them. I've been looking for cool stuff for years! I think I've narrowed it down to a couple of ideas. Here are some of my favorite tattoos i've seen so far.

This one I LOVE, but I want to get the flowers in turquoise
instead of red. And I want to add more swirls or something
to have wrap around to my stomach and back a little more.

Something more like this... with more swirls added :)

I'm going to get this character for "tao" as well.

And either this peace sign or the Chinese character for peace.
I like these chinese characters....

Peace

Love

I might just get all of them on me at some point... we'll have to see how i do with the first one. :)

This picture from the electronic band/artists "Infected Mushroom" is tattooed on my friend's back. It looks amazing! :)

The rest of these are just cool >_<

TRAVEL TO SCOTLAND

I have a slight obsession with Scotland, and i have no idea why, i've just always liked it and wanted to learn anything and everything about it. I've got books on folklore, and legends, history, modern attractions... you name it i've got it. It must just be a connection to it through a past life or something. But whatever it is, I've decided to put up some info on here about attractions and other things to do in scotland. I have some of my favorite pictures, and music that I think are worth a minute of time.

If there are any other lovers of europe out there and you'd like to find out more about or visit scoland these sites will help. The first one is scoland attractions, it'll help you with places to go, food to try, castles to know, where to stay and more. The second one is of strange places to visit in scotland, like any other places there are places that have built up a reputation of wierd, but worthy of acknowledgement. :) And the third site is for other walking lovers like myself... i dream of one day walking on the beautiful, green rolling hills as far as the eye can see. That site has walking routes set up for different places and occasions and it's worth checking out if you want to take a stroll in the highlands!!

Scotland's Six Cities

Aberdeen's famous 'Granite Mile', Union Street, is the gateway to over 800 shops, restaurants and bars. Visitors can chill-out in lovely flower-filled parks - Aberdeen is 13 times winner of Britain in Bloom. Best of all, the city has its own golden sandy beach.

Dundee - 'City of Discovery' and Scotland's fourth largest - has transformed itself in recent years into a lively, cosmopolitan centre that's an increasingly popular choice as a short city-break destination or for a great family day out.

Edinburgh, the inspiring capital of Scotland, is a historic, cosmopolitan and cultured city. The setting is wonderfully striking; the city is perched on a series of extinct volcanoes and rocky crags which rise from the generally flat landscape of the Lothians, with the sheltered shoreline of the Firth of Forth to the north.

Overflowing with style and culture, Scotland's biggest city is a revelation to its growing number of visitors. Its blend of internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries, stunning architecture, vibrant nightlife, fabulous shopping and superlative wining and dining prove irresistible.

Inverness was granted its city status in 2000. It is the prosperous hub of the Highlands, with an enviable location on the banks of the River Ness at the head of the Great Glen, making it an ideal base for exploring.
Stirling gained city status in 2002. It is Scotland's heritage capital, where the Wars of Independence were fought and won; where, for three centuries, monarchs ruled in regal splendour and where merchants and craftsmen plied their trade below the castle rock.

I'm like a curious child and want to know everything. I'm passionate, spontaneous, tough, sometimes spoiled, and loyal to those who have a place in my heart. I'm a country girl at heart living in a city, and i miss my trees, simplicity and peace of the country.

I have a great life in the midst of all the chaos in the world. I have the greatest man in the universe whom i love with all of my heart. Some of the most amazing friends i could have ever wished for. Amazing parents, a family who loves me... and a cute little puppy. I believe in love, I believe everything happens for a reason, and i believe life is too short to live it any way but happy. I believe family is important and am fiercely protective of my family and those friends who have become family.

I'm very into music, I constantly have songs in my head and I hum or sing when it's too quiet. I seem to always surround myself with music and other people who love it just as much as I do. It's a way of life, an art that not many understand or fully appreciate. It rules my life, because life would be dull without music. I've played the trumpet for 10 years and still play occasionally around learning to play the guitar and drums at times. I also dance and sing, I've been in two bands that i sang for. I've danced many different styles for over 10 years now.

I like all the random little cool things that most girls don't like... and it's the reason i get along with more guys than girls. I avoid drama like the plague, so don't bother sharing yours with me. I'm far from predictable to anyone other than my love who knows me too well.

I love nature and wish i could just travel and see beautiful places everyday. I love the rain and thunderstorms!

I LOVE to read, write, draw, and i like things that make me think. I read more than i socialize some days and that doesn't bother me in the least. I do what I want and i think everyone should be able to as long as it's not bad or destructive, be a good person... no one likes a douche bag. Do what makes you happy. Don't worry too much about money because you can't take your money and material things with you when you die... you might as well learn that early. I think life is beautiful... if we can get past all the ugliness people have created in it.

I am a lot of things and want and strive to be even more. I'm different from day to day, but at least I'm not boring. I love life and the idea of living to the fullest. So I just live on day at a time, taking what i can from life while I'm still alive to take it.

Reasons to love life

Life... there's days when it seems like too much to deal with. There are days when it feels like just another day. Another day of working, cleaning, paying bills, politics, reality t.v shows, killings, global warming, the list goes on and on.
But it's important to remember the little things in life that make you happy. Things that set an insignificant day apart from an amazing day. May it be finding the time to make a perfect dinner at the end of a long day, stripping down to soak in a bath with music and candles, a dance class you love, or writing that book you think you'll never finish. It's those little things that make life worth living. We all have 1, or 20 and it's important to make time for our hobbies, our reasons for loving life

  • dancing
  • making music
  • writing
  • painting
  • technology
  • traveling
  • volunteering
  • photography
There are many things I've dreamed of doing in my lifetime that i have not gotten around to yet. And there are things I've gotten the chance to do that I never thought could be possible. The possibilities of life are incredible, and are far more reachable than you would have thought. You just have to really want it. If you have dreams and goals, and hobbies then you should never, ever think negatively. You should always think of things as reachable, and if you haven't gotten to it yet, then so be it, but you will eventually. Don't put off the things that make you happy, make them a part of your reality, a part of your life. A healthy balance in life includes the things that keep you busy, keep you living, and not simply standing by and looking. Be passionate, live with purpose, have a dream, a goal, a reason to live. We can't all have a dream job, and a perfect life, the perfect partner, or a million dollars... but we do have the power to be happy. You decide how your day is going to be, not the events that happen through out the day. Take charge of your days, of your attitude, of your life. Choose to make your happiness a big part of your life.
